Elisabeth Moss isn’t ready to let Peggy Olson go.
Addressing AMC’s controversial decision to air Mad Men‘s seventh and final season in two separate seven-episode chunks, the actress told me Sunday on the Emmys red carpet that she’s embracing the split season (to air over a two-year period) with open arms.
“It gives us all a chance to not have to say goodbye yet,” she said, “and I like that.”

She also points out that AMC’s divide and conquer strategy isn’t exactly hurting Breaking Bad.
